I'm sorry if it happens to be trite, but it also happens to be true. I was a member of the Somerset County Chapter in the early 80's. I mainly went to the meetings at the house of one of the people who ran the chapter. I can't remember if he was an actual official or just one of those overachieving volunteers. It was off of Easton Avenue in Somerset. Our monthly meetings were mostly at a hotel on Davidson Ave. I think it was the Holiday Inn.

That's all I've got off the top of my head, and yeah it doesn't prove anything.

2. Your comprehension was never in question - was it? My short term memory sucks. I'm pretty sure it wasn't. You're being too sensitive. I know that most people will not distinguish much between whacking you over the head with a 2x4 for a good reason and no reason at all. I tend to regard that as a somewhat important distinction.

BTW, since my short term memory has come up before, I had encephalitis as a child and almost died. It was viral and couldn't be treated. As a result there was brain damage but I still made a "full" recovery - or IOW - I didn't. I just wasn't an invalid. And yes, I STILL got into Mensa.
