The Michigan Sec'y of State has banned open-carry guns from polling places on Election Day.
Doesn't this unconstitutional over-reach make you ashamed to live in this once-great Land of the Free? Without guns, won't law-abiding folk be too intimidated to vote?
Several groups including the NRA and many Republicans have joined to oppose this 2nd Amendment violation. Let's hope they can get an injunction in the next three weeks. Obviously this is an unfair attempt by Socialists to suppress gun owners' votes. (I am not a lawyer: Will gun owners need to apply for a concealed-carry permit if they want to vote on Election Day?)

Seriously, the Republicans use shit like this to point out how the Democrats want to take their guns away. Fucking idiots, you don't need to carry a gun to the polls, I promise, no Antifa will be there with their bazookas to keep you from peacefully voting. It's safe to leave your house without a gun.

Oh, c'mon now. Concealed carry is still ok for those who can't vote without packin' heat. It's just folks who use their AK's and AR's as a crutch who'll be crippled.

I know what you mean. With Antifa and their army of bazooka toting deep state Democrats backed by invisible Chinese battle bots, you need a pistol in your pocket to vote safely anymore.

It's adorable you think these yahoos have the ability or wherewithal to acquire a CCW permit. Those only go to the smart libruls who can pass a test and afford the fee.

I am glad that most of you realize I was being sarcastic.
I suppose I overdo the sarcasm — and should apologize for that — but I do not know how else to speak about or cope with some developments in America. In the same state of Michigan, lawmakers now wear bullet-proof vests on the floor of the Legislature in their Capitol, because white supremacists holding assault rifles occupy the galleries, exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. I just don't know how to discuss post-rational America without breaking into sarcasm.
Trump and the GOP have openly stated that they want to intimidate likely D voters on Election Day. Bravo to the Michigan state government for banning the guns. I cannot pretend that the many GOP-linked people protesting this ban are anything other than disgusting scum.

Don’t worry, the Michigan Supreme Court has reversed this tyrannical edict and good Americans will now be allowed to intimidate black voters as God intended.:verymad:
