Some days will live on in the memory forever. Last Saturday was such a day.

The Sam Roberts Band played for the hometown crowd here in Montreal. The show was beyond stunning! Great music, great performances, just an all-around amazing show!

So much enthusiasm. So much emotion. So much magic.

My theatre group finished the last of their performances of HMS Pinafore last week. Good times! This was my 10th year of playing clarinet in the orchestra for their shows. It's been a good 10 years.

I'm finishing up 2 books of music arrangements for clarinet and violin.

I'm working on editing some of my music arrangements.

Also, I made doughnuts today. They're supposed to be for a bake sale. I hope everything will go all right with that.

I have a problem. I have too many musical instruments and not enough time to practice them all.

Ah well.

Also, I'm procrastinating right now. If there was a procrastination contest, I wouldn't win it, because I'd put off entering the contest until it was too late.

I've been practicing the ukulele lately. I'm trying to learn to play instrumental arrangements of songs because I'm bad at singing. (Also, my voice range is odd and narrow.)

Fun fact: if you leave a ukulele out at a party, people will play it.
