What concerns me is how Atalanta will determine the "last" poster. A locked thread can be unlocked; a disappeared thread can reappear. Anything short of the death of the server can be undone -- and killing the server means there's no way to verify who last posted to the thread.

I say we set an arbitrary deadline. Such as the death of the sun. Gives us a few billion years to work things out.

No. I'll be dead in less than a few billion years and I need to win that five dollars. I propose a more reasonable deadline with an attainable trigger-point.
