Well I didn't run on Sunday. Two reasons, one I strained my knee a little during Saturday's run, and two, I just didn't have time. I spent the day in the simulator trying to show someone that I'm competent enough to keep flying for another 6 months. After that I was straight to the airport to catch a flight home.
I didn't run on Monday either as I still had mild pain in my knee, also I like to just kick back on my first day home and enjoy my family.
Anyway, I had to get back into it so today (Tuesday) was the day. I went out and did an 8 k run which felt really good. I kept my pace up a bit and still felt great by the end of it, so I know I can go faster. Also my knee didn't give any trouble.

I'm still running with no great plan, just gradually increasing distance, doing a longer run each week, and running faster on the shorter ones. 8 km used to be the long run, now it's the short run. I'll have a go at 15 km this week for the long one.
