And, as the spouse of a husband who now needs a handicap sticker to get around, you block a parking spot he needs to go get something for "just a minute," I'd happily take down your license plate number all the while calling the cops on your ass. First of all, apropos of the plenty of small children who are left in hot cars in the summer, the justification that it's "only 2 minutes" rings untrue. I didn't and don't justify occupying a handicap space for two minutes. My original comment was that it isn't something I'd get all worked up about. It's certainly not something I would bother the police with. That to me is right up there with that lady who called 911 because she didn't get cheese on her cheeseburger.
