Because I know for 100% that Gnarly shares my first name. I know that your first name has something in common with mine but I have not see any sign that your name is the same as mine - does that make sense?

As for telegraphing my hint, that's what I don't get. From your comment you pointed to the location of the hint, which I'd already given, so unless I've missed something or misunderstood your telegraphing, I don't see that you actually understood my hint as it relates to my name.

My comment was not in reference to the post number. It also wasn't meant to be obvious. If you don't see it now, good. It's pretty unambiguous once I explain, which means I can't float along pretending I got it when I didn't.

gnarly and Chaos, on the other hand, have given no evidence thus far. I don't want to give away anything else until they give some indication that they know the name too and aren't just faking it.

I haven't posted a hint about my name because I think that's a bad idea. What I have done is posted something that's too convoluted to work as a hint, but, when explained, will show that I knew my first name when I posted it. I'm Elvis, see?
