October/November London Giraffe-fest
 

Now that Nicole has joined us in the big smoke I wondered if people were up for a meet? It's been ages since we've had one. I checked with Lo Slung Denim and she was up for it. Others? Fromage a trois? Romola? Severe Delays?

Bueller?

I was thinking we could do another meet at a Giraffe restaurant, how about the one in Marylebone high street? No set time in mind, maybe a weekend before the end of October/start of November?

Sounds good. Can't guarantee to be there due to shifts etc. but if I have enough notice I can go and make puppydog eyes at a manager.

Fromage works in London now, so might prefer an evening rather than trekking down here on a weekend....

I should be around though. Evenings probably better for me too, now I think about it.

Basically, the faster we all decide on a date the more likely it is that I can turn up.

Weekends are fine for me. Could we do a friday?

A Friday would work for me as long as it's not Friday next week. After that I'm pretty much open to suggestions.

How do people feel about the Marylebone giraffe restuarant suggestion as a place to go? Happy to book a table.

Seeing as this was partly to welcome Nicole and she hasn't even bothered to show her face in the thread, I don't feel too guilty about being Lizzy Let-Down ;)

Hmmm. I'm guessing this is off since nobody else has been replying. I've rearranged things and will have a miniraffermeet with Rom and Poggs instead. Maybe we can arrange another raffermeet after the New Year when people have more money and time.

Actually, if we are counting the times that Romola, Poggs and I meet up then we probably have Raffermeets fairly often. If anyone wants to come along then they are most welcome. :)
