Why would you be sure of anyone being town at this point? Too early for such confidence.

I know nights are always quiet - but after lynching a wolf I'm surprised at how lonesome it is in here! Zack said lots of back patting but really most people haven't said anything

Here was the final tally:

Scathach tied Zuma with Lightfoot, then Mahaloth placed the clinching vote. gnarlycharlie then voted Mahaloth.

Especially on the heels of interesting results yesterday, I'd expect a bit more conversation.

I assume this should have 1 less vote for Zack and 1 more for Mahaloth from gnarlycharlie's vote change near EoD.

Incidentally, gnarlycharlie, changing your vote from a lurking scum to a third-tier candidate at the end of the day looks suspicious.


I'm not quite sure how much to weigh this, because while it's also possible that scum decided zuma wasn't worth saving if xie wasn't going to be present, I'd have to guess that they're unlikely to want it to happen D1. _{caveat caveat caveat...} In that case, the fact that nobody jumped off the zuma train might be significant. The later joiners on the Lightfoot train might also make good suspects, perhaps as a counterbalance to a possible zuma lynch? It was close enough that no one could really be sure - one switch away from zuma or towards Lightfoot could make all the difference. Comments/thoughts/aspersions cast upon my ancestry?

I'm kind of leaning town on gnarlycharlie right now. He argued fairly strongly against the zuma lynch but he did it late in the day where a swing was unlikely to happen so I don't see a scum motivation.

This is low-hanging fruit. The tally was right there, and yet charlie voted for the person who clinched the lynching vote against a wolf. Pretty brazen if gnarlycharlie is mafia, no?

I didn't realize you guys talked at Night here. Where I used to play no one could talk game at Night. Because of this I only checked early to see who got lynched and the result. Now I'm heading out for the evenig.

I'll make sure to chime in on this more when I get back later though.

I will say this now though, since I hve a minute. I voted zuma early and never changed. My original reasoning was because I felt it odd that he was lost so early (20 posts in) and then never came back. It was Day 1 and there wasn't much else to go on at the time. My vote was more meant to prod him to come back and participate. But he never did. As the Day went on I left my vote alone while reading and commenting on everything else. I didn't neccassarily want to vote zuma out but I felt him going would be better than someone who was actively participating. I'm glad zuma flipped wolf. At the time the day ended I wasn't sure if he would. Day 1 votes are more random than anything. But if someone had to go On day 1 I'd rather it be someone who did something I found odd and also wasn't helping much. In the event e flipped town.

Does that make sense?

It's a good point. Scum may have been just fine with a zima lynch, and not have left any obvious evidence in the vote record. The important question then becomes did anyone vote at a good time to claim some kinda tlwnie cred.

I agree. And, assuming Lightfoot is Town, I'd also soft-clear the Zuma voters: guiri, idrinkthere4iam, TexCat, Scáthach, Mahaloth. Scum Lynching Scum Day 1 is extremely rare, I think. Even with Zuma missing, they'd assume he'd show up Day 2, no?

But that assumes Lightfoot is Town. If we happened to get two Scum in the crosshairs, they'd give up and just vote each other. Learning Lightfoot's alignment is high priority.

To learn you will have to lynch- I don't care for that idea

I am trying to follow this- but If I were Scum with Zuma why did I not vote Zuma in the end? ( if we were were indeed Scum together trading a non participant for myself would have made sense?) no?

The only thing that keeps me going is that I get lynched on day 1 EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME. message received.

I'll keep playing, as I never have any real investment in these games.
