very very sad about the Panthers losing

some people are happy because they have a girlfriend or a good job or a cool car or something

I don't have anything going on in my life except watching sports.

I think I will finally know what it's like to be one of those happy people whose teams win a world series, but God/The Universe/Q snatches it away from me

devastating loss

nothing good ever happens to me

I'm gonna drink a lot of Budweiser tonight

PSXer 7th February 2016 07:01 PM

I was real sad when the Cubs lost but the Panthers losing hurts more. this is the local team I'm more emotionally invested in them. and they made it to the final

Cochrane 7th February 2016 07:13 PM

Cam will have his day. It's good to see Peyton going out on top.

PSXer 7th February 2016 07:14 PM

really shameful display from Cam Newton on the sideline when he was losing

throwing a fit out there when the Panthers got called for defensive holding near the end

he needs to learn to lose with dignity. I try to defend people from the haters but I can't defend his actions tonight

PSXer 7th February 2016 07:15 PM

I liked the doritos commercials with the dogs trying to get into the store to get doritos

it played the music the thieving magpie and it reminded me of a clockrowk orange when they played that music

hilarity n. suze 7th February 2016 07:19 PM

I am one of those happy people who knows what it's like for my team to win the Super Bowl. Well, it wears off really quickly, okay? It's still February. It's still cold. My husband would not let me set the couch on fire when we won. (I was even going to take it outside.) But I am happy, and I hope Victoria Azarenka is also happy.

That Doritos commercial was the only one I liked though.

PSXer 7th February 2016 07:20 PM

well at least there's only a few weeks until spring training

He needs to chill out and eat a carton of yogurt.

Boring game. Boring commercials. Snooze of a halftime show. The one bright light was Lady Gaga singing the national anthem. She was awesome.

PSXer 7th February 2016 09:04 PM

they made Philly Brown leave the game because of the concussion protocol

they shouldn't have such strict rules in the super bowl. the super bowl is too important

Wouldn't you have done that if they won? Seems like the identical outcome.

PSXer 7th February 2016 10:25 PM

if had they won I would drink in celebration and feel good

since they lost I will drink in desperation and feel bad

Roo 7th February 2016 10:27 PM

If you're going to feel bad anyway, why waste the beer?

PSXer 7th February 2016 10:37 PM

to take the edge off

tar503 7th February 2016 11:34 PM

I feel you bro. I too am a lazy, jobless, single, wretch of a human being. *hugs*

No, it's just a game. Brain injuries last a lifetime and cause continuously degenerative conditions.

It's was just a game, just an entertainment.

Life could be worse. You could be in an ongoing state of panic, like Dire Wolf is, over your girlfriend leaking and going flat.

Play Superbowls, win super prizes.

You shouldn't have stolen her from me if you were going to trash talk her. That's just ungentlemanly. And it is even more ungentlemanly for you to talk about her incontinence and chest size.

Let's leave FX out of this.

You're the one who complained about my ex-girlfriend being leaky and flat.

Cam Newton is a good quarterback and only 5 years in the league, he has time to mature. If he can put the ego aside and learn from his mistakes, I think he'll do well. Also, his interview after the game was even more painful to watch than his behavior on the sideline. Sometimes in life you learn more from the losses than the wins, but damn Cam, at least act like a professional athlete being interviewed.
I as a broncos fan, couldn't have been more embarrassed than I was two years ago when the broncos choked in the S.B. And honestly this game was bitter sweet, the offense only scored once, it wasn't a pretty game on either side.
I feel your pain, damn games fucking with my emotions!

Roo 11th February 2016 09:14 PM

Peyton Manning gets egg on his face.

On the Jimmy Fallon show, Peyton Manning and Magic Johnson faced off for a game of egg Russian roulette. They pick eggs to crack over their head. 8 of a dozen are hard-boiled and 4 are raw. In 3 rounds, Peyton Manning lost with 2 raw eggs on his head.

PSXer 11th February 2016 11:41 PM

every year I'ved watched Cam Newton I said he's still young he still has time to mature..

After 5 years now though I have just resigned myself tot he fact that he will always be a sore loser.

Not the worst thing he could be though. He doesn't beat up his girlfriend or drive drunk and he has stopped stealing laptops

haha, that made me laugh. Damning with faint praise.

*I don't watch football, so I don't know if that's a reference to something, but it sounded funny anyway.

PSXer 12th February 2016 12:55 AM

Cam Newton stole a laptop and wrote his name on it and threw it out the window when the cops showed up

LonelySock 16th February 2016 03:54 AM

Cam is a whiny-assed loser. He is still young enough to get over that, but:

Will he look into a fucking mirror and want to?

Cochrane 16th February 2016 08:20 AM

Never mind. Wrong thread.

Roo 17th February 2016 07:52 AM

Just saw the controversy on video on Peyton Manning.

Don't know anything more than that, so I won't comment on it.

PSXer 17th February 2016 07:55 AM

that's an old story that everyone already knew about it's just coming up now because some old document finally got released

Roo 17th February 2016 07:59 AM

The timing is coincidental with the Superbowl.

Will that have an effect on his career?

PSXer 17th February 2016 08:05 AM

his career was over irregardless

will this have an effect on his legacy?

I doubt it

Roo 17th February 2016 08:16 AM

Ah, OK. Thanks for the answer.

Cochrane 17th February 2016 08:21 AM

It was one-sided. It was documents released by the plaintiff's lawyer, not a final court document. I agree Peyton should hang 'em up and wait for his invitation to Canton.

Sounds like a classic case of she-said/fore-head.

PSXer 21st February 2016 10:59 AM

smdh looks like Cam Newton is a drug addict

http://dailysnark.com/cam-newton-spo...ing-weed-club/

he's supposed to be a role model for the kids

Jaglavak 21st February 2016 02:37 PM

They said role model; he heard poster child.
