This is very important that you understand what you're voting for here. You are not voting for the thing you like the best this time, instead you are voting for the thing (out of these five) that you want OUT FOR GOOD.

What one thing among these five are just not as good as the other four? What's the one thing that stands out to you? The one thing that makes you go "Wha?? What the fuck is THAT still doing in there? How did it make it this far?"
That's the one you should vote for. Whatever one just doesn't match up to the others. One of these things don't belong: WHICH IS IT?

Well you voted "tacos" so it's obvious you yourself were confused and accidentally voted for the best thing.

I myself am confused by the lack of sides and desserts. This poll reads like a death row prisoner's last meal request.

I don't like tacos. I've been voting against them this whole poll.

Tacos are far inferior to everything else on that list...but vote how you will.

By the way, I'm glad Idle chose to handle the problem of having 5 left in this fashion. I didn't weigh in on this when he presented different options earlier, because I instead took the opportunity to tell him that he sucks.

I can't imagine a universe in which, when faced with the choice between eating a nice ribeye steak and a chicken fried steak, I'd choose the latter. Hence, chicken fried steak has to go.

On that logic, nothing up there comes anywhere close to a nice ribeye, since you cretins voted out my precious cioppino in the first round.

But I really still don't care for enchiladas.

At this point, the only thing, I feel, that can rival or possibly beat steak is tacos. Anything else is an easy win for steak.

I mean steak vs enchiladas? Uhhhhhh, there's no contest there. Duh. Steak easily wins. Steak vs PM? Again, very easy.

Tacos is the only thing left that could POSSIBLY make it a close one against Steak.

Previously I figured FRIED CHICKEN would have done that, but idiots on here voted fried chicken to lose, which makes no sense at all since good, real fried chicken just might be the best dish on this planet.


But since you all got rid of that one, steak is going to easily win at this point, I feel.

If I posted "Steak VS CE" anywhere else on the net and said "And this is the final of a "what's the best meal of all time?" poll", people would be having a fuckin fit. They'd be like "Uh, huh? Best food of all time and CE got to the end? WHERE THE FUCK IS CHICKEN AND PORK CHOPS AND CHEESECAKE???"

Even if you put the steak in the tacos, it's still not close to a classic, simple, wood grilled ribeye. Use Santa Maria Red Oak please, and cook it so the delicious line of fat around the edge is crispy but melts in your mouth. Leave it very pink and juicy in the center, but with a nice crust. Roll your eyes back out of your head when you're done eating it; you'll need them to lick the plate.

I'm homering for all steak and Mexican food over pizza. In the event of a tie move my vote to chicken fried steak.

Just as an aside, I demand an OFFICIAL RULING, Idle. A taco has to have normal Tex/Mex type fillings, right? Shrimp or even Fish Tacos should be fine, and yes, it's versatile, but you can't count it as a taco if you stuff it with Mu Shu pork, say, or if you put an italian sausage, marinara sauce and cheese inside the shell, correct?

No way. A taco is stuff in a hard tortilla/waffle taco shaped shell. Are you going to sit here and tell me that a Choco Taco is not a taco?

Ok, I've thought long and hard about it and I am going to concede with the consesus.

If tacos are anthying in a taco shell or is specifically just TexMex/Mex stuff, including the fishy stuff. Which would exclude my example of a Choco Taco and things like garlic-buttered French snails tacos and caramel covered termites tacos.

Maybe a poll is in order to see what the public decides?

I would say anything that makes sense with the very well put together Wikipedia page would satisfy me.

By that argument, you'd allow an abomination like a Chinese Beef-and-Broccoli Taco. Or a spinach and marinated ground sausage meat lasagne taco.

I suppose at least in theory one could make a Chinese Beef-and-Broccoli Taco. But not that other thing, because it has lasagna. No pasta in tacos.

Spinach and sausage tacos don't sound half bad. It would be awful with, say, ricotta and an Italian meat sauce, but just sausage and spinach with maybe roasted garlic and a squeeze of lemon? Yup that sounds great.

And Mexican fusion foods are very popular right now. It's usually Korean not Chinese, but if it's yummy why not?
