Nickname of your SO

I've always called Mrs. H. 99 after Get Smart and the song by Toto. She does resemble Barbara Feldman a bit.

What's your pet name for your SO?

I assume that ex's don't count.

She Who Must Be Obeyed.

The Devil's Grandmother 17th November 2016 01:50 PM

Sweetie!

We call each other and refer to each other as Baby (beh-beh).

"Schmoo," inspired by the Seinfeld episode making fun of cutesy nicknames.

Too Tall Tommy. He's 6'5" and he's been called that forever. Well, that's what his friends call him.

We call each other Honey Bunny and Pumpkin sometimes, from Pulp Fiction. Mostly we say Babe and Sweetie.

Chuck.

Either "hey, hon" or "hello".

I frequently do not bother to wear my hearing aid at home. We have a big house. So I wander around saying, "hey, hon" or just "hello".

Our African Grey Rocco now yells out a perfect rendition of me saying these things, knowing that my gf will walk around hunting me down and giving him attention.

"Punkin'" and "Hunny". Note the spellings: I might call someone "honey" on Facebook, but "hunny" is only for the missus. Same with "Punkin'".

If my GF gets "needs adult supervision" drunk, my friend calls her "Tanqueray Earnhardt". It's her drunk name.

Does "fucking rat bastard" count?

The Devil's Grandmother 18th November 2016 02:48 PM

Yes, but only when spoken with affection.

Dragonlady 18th November 2016 05:28 PM

"The Addict"

Snookie. One of my favorite posts here was when some realized that "Matt Russell" was my cat and "Snookie" was my husband.
