I don't have any opinion on how awful the title might be--I just really have no clue as to what it's trying to say or if it refers to something. If there's a clever meaning to it, by all means enlighten me so I may bask in the sheer genius of it all. :confused:

It's a sportsball thing (specifically I know Football and Baseball do it). Basically, it has to do with "picks" for players coming up out of college and/or moving due to free agency.

Minimum salary for rookies is $480k, so more like $30k per game. And the guy who gets picked last will quite likely not even make it through training camp - teams draft a lot more players than they intend to keep. So he's probably only going to get a few grand of training camp pay.
