Show us a snapshot!
A snapshot of anything, just so's you took it yourself. Here's a groundhog I spotted up one of my redbud trees last August.
https://i.postimg.cc/1RBTQr9K/20190812-115226.jpg That's the day I learned that groundhogs sometimes climb trees to scope out their surroundings. |
Okay. Here’s one I took last summer just because I liked the the design of the sign. It’s out in the middle of nowhere, on the edge of the forest (obviously):

Damn, when I first glanced at that photo, I thought it was real and I was like "what kind of horrible mutant killer frog is that?!

Groundhogs in the trees. Whoa.
Lemmesee what I got . . . oh yea I have to put it up on the web . . . OK just popped in for the groundhog comment because that makes No sense . .. bbsoon Found something! Every picture I have taken and have on my computer is a dog. In my defense, the computer is one I got not long ago. This is James, a cane Corse that came to the shelter. He had learned that one bark kept people away from him. I was not conned. Somewhere there is a picture of him sitting on my lap. All that shows of me is my legs. https://i.postimg.cc/cLdprfFL/James.jpg |

Here's a few I've taken over the years. No theme or anything... just ones that I thought folks might like. :)
|
I love looking at all the pix - I wish there was a way to comment on them as I'm looking at them. (I've been spoiled by FB in that regard.)

Attack of the beetles! What the hell is that? And more importantly, how big is it?
 |

Some rare morning fog inside the Valles Caldera, northern NM. That's the rim of the caldera curving away into the distance from right to left. The fog was coming over the rim into the caldera, left center.

And those are some serious skinny white legs on Mr. Rebo :haw: |

Another shot from the Valles Caldera. The fog settled into the low-lying areas; in this case the small canyon formed by the Jemez river:

Same place and time with the wave all the way out. |
Still a cool shot, but the wave makes it awesome.
