Greatest Hit of the '70s, Round 2i: Silly Love Songs (1976) vs. (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty (1976)
"Silly Love Songs" by Wings (#1 song of 1976) vs. "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" by KC and the Sunshine Band (#26 song of 1976)
To reduce the chances that two strong songs would meet in Round 2, criteria were used to assign songs to the top or bottom half of the remaining field. "Silly Love Songs" was considered to be a relatively strong contender for being Billboard's #1 Hot Single of 1976 and for earning 95.65% of the votes cast in its Round 1 poll. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All poll threads in this megapoll for "Silly Love Songs" by Wings All poll threads in this megapoll for "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" by KC and the Sunshine Band |

I'll never forget KC lip syncing out of sync on Midnight Special!

Silly Love Songs is not terrible and it's an easy vote over a song about butt wiggling.
