I have no idea how long games will take, but we kind ended up with some reserved slots for holidays and so forth. We'll do a lottery if needed.

If I could make a modest proposal here, given how long it's taking to fill games these days maybe we could get signups going on the next one pretty soon here. Obviously we don't have to start until this one's over and I'm not suggesting that.

I think we should probably skip to Mahaloth next.

You mean the Xmas game? That seems extreme.

Thank you, but someone else can go. It's been a busy summer and I haven't gotten around to finishing the game and probably won't be able to for a few months. So I'm looking doing one after the Christmas game.

What about just grabbing some open setup premade thing from Mafiascum or somewhere, like Operating Room, and doing shorter phases and not a lot of color? (And starting signups for the Halloween game really soon even while another one is running?)

I could run something if nobody else is up for it, but I'd really rather play.

It still feels early to run my Halloween game, but I could. I need to do my final balance review of it, maybe ready in a week.

I have my annual Christmas game and would prefer someone else go now.

I am willing to run some version of something but I don't want to feel like I am wresting control from the hands of Bashorian Clement. Like, start something, use a canned setup, add some silly flavor (e.g. "Misheard Lyrics Mafia"), I would actually offer to co-mod except there aren't so many of us who play these days so that's kind of a waste. And don't expect fancy graphics.

If enough players haven't signed up by say mid-September then tell them to don their costumes for Pleo's game.

I also second Vanta's suggestion that we shouldn't wait to start signups until the current game ends, as it leads to long lag times.
