My first time I've ever seen it played in a work of fiction.

Well, this is not looking great. It appears our little group may have dropped below critical mass.

Modest suggestion: We could start a Giraffe subforum on the Mafia Universe site and run the game there. Put all our people at the top of the signup list and then open it to the general public. There would be some culture shock involved, but it's starting to look like the alternative is not having Mafia games anymore. I played a game on the Civilization Fanatics subforum there recently and met some cool folks (also rekindled my obsession with Civilization as an unwanted side effect).

Mafia Universe is blocked by my company, so if we move there, my post count will be very low. I don't have a lot of free time in the evenings due to family stuff. But other than that, I don't have a problem with moving there.

Sorry folks, I really haven't felt like playing. I'll be back. Really, I'd probably probably like to moderate, but I haven't felt motivated to invest any time into that either.

It was good to see Sister C back. Maybe I will play.

It's OK. I'd like to do a big reach out and get all our old players back for this game, but I will admit I have not done that.

Edit: Angel Satan is me, Mahaloth. My bad for still being logged in that way.

If game starts after xmas I could play. Maybe it could be a smaller game this time?

I have two weeks off coming in about two days. Let me look up and see if I have a nice smaller game setup that I can prep and run.

Okay, this is really disappointing. I'm hoping that everybody just has busy lives. I have been driven to sign up for a game at MU and if that game doesn't go then I just don't know.

I'm here, I've just spent the past two months easily distracted because no meds.

I've now gotten caught up on the traitors show in multiple countries and seasons. My husband and I watch them and go, well if I scum in this game...I mean a traitor, yeah that's what they call it!

Meanwhile, I have a setup. Experimental, probably not balanced. It needs 11 players minimum, surely we can get 11 players here, we haven't had a game in six months.

Like Pizza's Blind Swordsman, except this is a Blind Assassin (I don't know, ask Margaret Atwood) 1 scum rolecop 1 scum goon 1 Blind Assassin, who cannot be killed at night and who kills anyone who visits at night, who wins if and only if alive at end of game 1 3P 1-shot assassin hunter, who wins and leaves the game if he shoots the Blind Assassin, otherwise wins if town wins 1 town player who starts the game knowing the identity of the Assassin, who gets a win if the Assassin is alive at the end of the game no matter which faction prevails, if Assassin is dead wins with town 1 town tracker 5 vanilla townies Town wins when all threats to town are vanquished (the Blind Assassin is a threat) Scum wins when they control the vote Does it need another scum here? Balance, and all that, but I'm thinking if the Assassin gets shot and the Assassin's Assassin leave the game that changes things
