Boo-Boo has remained at Yogi's side through almost all of the Hanna-Barbera series, movies, and specials in which Yogi appeared, the only exceptions being Yogi's Space Race and Galaxy Goof-Ups, in which Boo-Boo's place was taken by a new character named Scare Bear.

Mr. Green Jeans was at his best in helping Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit play a gentle prank on the Captain–one that usually involved the Captain getting showered with dropped ping pong balls.

I have a general warm fuzzy feeling about everyone from Captain Kangaroo even though I don't remember very much about Mr. Green Jeans. Did he play a fiddle? he seems to be carrying one.

and he's not a cartoon so vote for the farmer with the fiddle!

ETA: I've been reading about him and found out the actors who played both the Captain and Mr. Green Jeans had been Marines.

Whoa, this is me to a T. My vote is definitely based on general nostalgia for the Captain.

I definitely favored cartoons over live action as a kid, so all my nostalgia along with my vote go to Boo Boo. If I was watching Captain Kangaroo I was patiently waiting for The Most Important Person and The Kingdom of Could Be You, and not-so-patiently waiting for technological advancements to allow fast forwarding television programs. I did have a certain affection for Mr. Green Jeans, though, since green was my favorite color.

Wow, this isn't the least bit familiar to me. How horribly wrong. Maybe Boo Boo was holding out for more money or he was in an indie phase or something.
