I'm whaling away on the gravel, only have a few square yards left to cover, w00t! Man, I love this damned excavator and I want to own it forever. No idea WTF I'd do to keep it busy, but I sure do want it! Nice part about this project is that most of the time I'm in the shade of either the bigass maple or the bigass conifer on the south end of the property--the only sunny bit is the 20 feet or so between those canopies. Nice!
I moved some of the dirt from the back forty out front to fill up a planter I've been meaning to finish so now I can finally get the blueberry bushes planted. They've only been living in pots out front for two months now.
I think I might have a pile of mulch somewhere out there, likely I'll go dig it up to finish up the job once I get the bushes planted.
Once the rock is all down I can tackle finishing up the retaining wall, which is in the coolest part of the yard and I can work at it as I have time. I only have to work two days before I have two more days off, which rocks.
