Many years ago, I traveled regularly to Carson City as we had a joint venture with a company based in CC. (Venture is long over, but I'm still friends with some of the people there - good people. Place was on Antler Drive, easy name to remember.)
I used to drive out 50 on my free time to just to do it - it was called (I think) "The Loneliest Highway" as there just isn't much out there...beautiful country, but pretty vast...if that's the 50 you'll be traveling, drive carefully and keep us posted!
