We have a costume bin my mother started. It has costume bits going back at least 30 years. Any time someone needs a costume, we can dig in the bin and come up with something. Any new costume that survives Halloween/history reports/school plays winds up in the bin. It’s handy and fun!
I know why I have so many leftover cloths stashed. It’s always easier to toss a bag of “too smalls” in the basement than to figure out what to do with them.
