Report from the battle front:
Turns out Maggie sometimes gets on the buffet, too. Masking tape really sticks to long-haired cats dumb enough to sit on it. Poor Maggie was collateral damage, as she is not an Agent of Gravity prone to destruction.
Felix did get up on the buffet once yesterday. He very carefully stepped around the remaining tape. I added more tape.
I moved the bird feeder to the kitchen porch but the birds haven't found it. Bird feeding season is almost done, anyway.
