Best of luck, Oxi!

My whole family makes fun of me because I order crepes with lingonberries and buy lingonberry jam. They made fun of my "make-believe" berries. I happen to like them and find them delicious on crepes.

While I talk about how epically busy work is, I work with great people who believe in teamwork and are always ready to lend a hand if needed. This is what makes this job bearable. The other stuff is annoying as hell, and I wish HR and PMO would get their shit together, but not everything can be perfect.

Duckie, your trip sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun! I love road trips! I really like the off-the-cuff trips, but that's just not possible because it's impossible to find places to stay anymore without a reservation. Well, unless you want to stay in some slimy, crappy room somewhere. I'm not quite that adventurous. I don't need luxury, but I do need clean.

I have my hair appointment today. I'm a little nervous. It's been over three months so I could let my hair grow out and repair itself, but I don't know if much can be fixed. We shall see. While the damage is mostly repaired, I have weird grow out in the places where the hair literally broke off in the shower right after I had my hair done three months ago, so I have these "layers", which I DO NOT WANT. Fingers crossed. I know it's only hair, but I am impatient by nature and am over having messed-up hair.

I'm looking forward to having the grandkids over tomorrow. It should be fun. We can't really go anywhere because we only have a car seat for Zoe, but we'll have fun in the backyard and in the house. Maybe we'll use our Gorilla Cart/Wagon and take the kids on a walk in it. We'll see. Hopefully, the kids are feeling well and in good moods. I should stop at Target and see if they have a splash pad or pool for the kids to play in.
