Hello raffers. I was just reading some old SDMB threads for fun, and came across this gem, in which a lengthy argument ensues over whether or not there is a difference between an avatar and a profile picture. Thought you might enjoy.
Oh also...this doesn't seem to be the thread in which people genuinely freaked out at the idea that a pic they had posted elsewhere on the board would be used by other people (via some kind of plug-in type software?) as an in-board avatar, but that is referenced. Absolutely hilarious.
