This strikes me as "
leashing the vig". I was all set to explain the concept of leashing the vig, and then explain all the pitfalls, and setbacks.

Or, was this your "I'm not even town" affected motivation?
I mean, I can expect the newcomer to .... discover and put forward plans to leash.
