Good for y'all for doing this!
When I was doing physical therapy I asked my PT, who treated a lot of older folks, if there was anything that made one person hold up better than others, and she said without hesitation, "yoga." Then she added, "Or Pilates."
Yoga is cheaper. And also, she said that first.
