I became "addicted" to my phone starting in 2015. The addiction broke when Musk broke Twitter. Now I can pick it up or leave it. I do play games on it during my 4 hour daily commute sometimes.
On the weekends, especially in the summer, I leave the phone in the house. It's a relief.
