Tomorrow is trash day so the bins need filled and taken out to the curb. This is the first cycle since The Captain died and how derpy is it that I'm feeling gut punched by how light the used cat litter bucket is withhout his contributions? He was a big cat with diabetes so every day when I scooped the box I'd fill up one of those doggy poop bags and barely have enough left to tie a knot in it to hold the contents. With just tiny Terri around there's barely anything to scoop and the bags are about a quarter of what they used to be. The five gallon bucket isn't even half full, when normally I'd have to take the last three days worth of bags and toss them into the kitchen garbage bag when I took that out. And the lack of stinky poop and piss rocks is making me feel unbelievably sad. I miss my big bruiser cat so much.
