SAAB. Huh? SAAB? Well yeah, they were originally making airplanes for the military, they diversified to cars for a couple of decades, but the military branch survived and is a fairly big company (13k employees).
SAAB also had
Scania heavy trucks, which is alive and well, but nowadays owned by
VW.
When was that R&D killed? I'd like to know who's to blame.
