I dragged my feet accepting and got another pay bump out of it. That probably means I should have aimed even higher with my opening number, but they exceeded my thoroughly researched expectations with their initial offer. I wasn’t holding out for more money, just for time to do next week’s interview.
It feels good to be wanted. I haven’t felt that way (at work) for a long time.
