Every time I post, I run the risk of alienating some of my adoring fans other posters.
If I make a serious, long post, some folks will yawn and wonder where the funny guy is.
If I made a humorous aside, some folks will not appreciate my humor and wish I'd quit hijacking.
If I confess my desire to string someone up like an animal and gut them before wearing their skin as an evening coat, someone will complain that leather shouldn't be worn that way.
There's always a risk.
