Female, US, black, although I have a drawer full of socks in various colors.
I switched to black after we got the puppy. Socks are her favorite snack. She snatches them from the laundry basket, and when I take laundry out of the washing machine, she sits and waits for a sock to fall on the floor. Having them all in one color means no more unmatched socks.
I might switch to white for summer though.
