Stuffed Turkeys--A Thanksgiving DTP
Well hokay, I'm stuffed fulla food, had somenice pear cider with dinner and now I'm slurping down a sweet, sweet, overly beliquored Irish coffee and I'm a teensy bit looooopy in a very good way. How bout the rest of you, any drunkies in da house all food coma'd and drinkin'?
Fuck, why are the damned dogs barking? Argh!

I am contemplating a glass of wine, but don't want to get drunkish. Got stuff to do tomorrow involving a traumatized miniature poodle.

How bad did the poodle get messed up?
In spite of drinking I managed to finish my scarf and I'm way proud of myself--I tend to have completion issues when it comes to yarn based projects but this I finished in just two days! I also discovered that Catch 22 is a great movie to not watch while crocheting. On account of the repeating scenes, y'see. Now I'm debating another drink. If I make it Irish coffee I will probably not sleep. Maybe another cider though...

The poodle may need a stitch or two, but I'm sure she'll be fine. Aside from the PTSD, that is.
I might be drunk on pie.

Gah, I hear you on the pie thing! I baked up a storebought blueberry pie and went a little insane last night. I had a piece to go with my Irish coffee, then a piece when I took a break crocheting my scarf, then a piece to celebrate finishing the scarf and today I feel thoroughly bloated. Still, mmmmm, pie...
Guess we were the only vertical persons able to drink last night, I am disappoint! I thought we were a hardy band of reprobates, turns out we're a collection of sad old people too susceptible to carbo-coma to function. Tsk, tsk.

OKAY. The poodle is stitched up and full of drains and had to get an unfortunate haircut, but it will be fine and dandy. Time to open a bottle of cheap wine.
