Signature lines don't show even though checked on user CP

I see that signature lines don't show even though checked on user CP. Are there signature lines? Can I make them show on the posts? Thanks

The Show signatures check box in User CP is to see other people's signatures, or not. Your own signature is turned off by default. Click the box under the window, and yours will show up.

Actually, I doubt that most people here ever even remember to click to show their own sigs so that's probably the problem.

Yup. Even when I remember to click it, I often end up previewing my post which turns it off and I forget to turn it back on.

It's possible for Giraffe to make that checkbox checked by default, but for some reason that would ruin the whole vibe of the message board or something.

To make things confusing, there are in fact two "show signatures" boxes. One is at the bottom of this page, under the Quick Reply box. The other is in your User CP, under Edit Options -- you have to make sure the Show Signatures box is checked under the Thread Display Options (right above Show Images and Show Avatars) in order to see other people's signatures are displayed.

Apologies if you've already done this, but please confirm that this latter box is still checked in your UserCP. If it isn't, check it and then hit "Save Changes" at the bottom. If it is, then that's super weird.
