The Next Iron Chef: Redemption

Chef Freitag, Chef Guarnaschelli, and Chef Appleman.

My money is on Freitag or Alex.

And Marcel the Douche is gone! w00t! Go Alex!

N8 has become a poop over the course of this season. This makes me sad.

I think the judges think that they are in competition with each other. Especially the two male judges. I hope Friday and Appleguy make it to Kitchen Stadium with Alex becoming the next Iron Chef.

I watched Chef G's first Iron Chef competition. She is very talented.

I hate the new "twists" they are adding to the show. Bleh. It is not necessary.
(1st dish in 20 minutes, then a "culinary curveball.") Scoring has changed, too.

Bloody hell! Are they determined to run the whole channel into the ground?

If you have seen "Restaurant Stakeout" and "Mystery Diners" you already have the answer to that question.

I haven't been able to watch lately so no I haven't seen them. It does not sound promising.

They're totally fake and worse than you are imagining...set up cameras and watch employees* behaving badly.

The Food Network has certainly declined with Restaurant Stakeout and Mystery Diner! Who is in charge over there??!! Their programming is really getting pathetic! Now, as far as the Next Iron Chef- Redemption goes, I like both Amanda and Alex and were glad that they were the 2 finalists but, I just can't figure how they actually had the balls to pick Alex over Amanda?! I will take that back, I do know ( just my opinion here ) how they did it. A confession here...I did not yet see the finale but, have read about it. Anyway, Alex is the new darling out there and look who is always behind Geoffrey ( or "fancy-pants" as Alex has referred to hom in the past ) when he competes in kitchen stadium, yep, Alex G! Granted, she is great and so is Amanda but, come on!! Did anyone actually stand a chance at winning Redenmption, other than Alex?!

They apparently were both stellar in the finale but, if they look at the "whole meal /whole competition" as they do for Chopped, how can Amanda lose to Alex??!! Seriously! There is no way on earth that should've happened! Oh...while I'nm on a rant here...who picks these judges? Were they picked by the same knuckle-head who developed "Rest.Stakeout" and "Myst.Diners"??

I respect Goeff. as a judge because he is a professional chef, paid his dues, worked his way up in the restaurant businees and is ore than qualified to be a judge. This other guy, whats-his-name is some writer, food critic or something to that extent...does he have any type of culinary training other than liking to fill his face?? What makes him qualified to be a judge? Oh and this Donatella girl...does she have any culinary training other than having a lot of money to buy-up restaurants?? What makes her qualified to be a judge? Can someone please explain this to me. I'm ranting over here so, I'll stop now! Food Network...you are dissapointing me, us big-time!!
