Mine's been wonky for a while, Not all of the 'new posts' are new. I just work around it. The ones at the top are newest, and I just read down until I recognize a last post.

One thing I've found helps after wonking about with it so long is to log out when you're done, log back in with a *cough* different account *cough*, then log that out. It seems that if you remember to do that, the next time you log in new messages are indeed new.

Giraffe must have lost bad at poker the last time we spoke of this. Well, he also didn't get the user feedback he asked for, so it's timbicile's fault it's still broken.

What happens when you click on it? Also, are you using the giraffeboards.com URL or the giraffeboard.com one?

When I hit New Posts I get a list of threads in reverse chronological order. The ones I have not read are shown bolded. The chronological order is reliable as dirt, the bolded thing is more hit or miss. Lately it's been hitting more than missing. I have my browser set to accept cookies but nuke them on exit. I'm looking at http://www.giraffeboards.com. It's totally no big deal, I just scan down to whenever I logged in last.

Mine works on and off (more often on than off, I'd say). Like Jag, I just look for last posts that happened before I last left the site. Kind of a pain to scroll through a bunch of replies upon hitting the "Go to first new post" button, but I guess this place is worth exactly what I pay for it.

Welp, I have constant, freaking CONSTANT problems at the Durp, with their "new posts" function, but it's always fine here. I get the list, ones I've read (usually from the CP, which I check before new posts) are always non-bolded, chronological order is always correct.
