Just bottled 12 gallons of Pinot Noir

Here's how it works: I set up 55 sanitized bottles to fill. But first I fill a large wine glass. Then I drink a good portion of it. Then I start to fill bottles. I have two carboys of wine to siphon. A couple of mason jars will get filled with the end parts of the carboys that won't fully fill a bottle.

Then I refill my glass. Afterward I finish filling all the bottles. At some point I manage to shove a cork into each bottle, then I wash out the carboys. Drink some more. Make an attempt to clean up the kitchen. You know what? I should eat something before I start bottling wine because I inevitably drink more than is wise during this task. But that's the fun part! Whatever. I think we got around 55 bottles and two full quarts of mason jars of wine, plus a couple glassfuls during the siphoning process. The first mason jar is mostly gone.

This stuff is really good, you guys.
