How the fuck does Trump plan to pay for all this shit?
First he wants a big ass wall worth at least 8 billion (I suspect that's just the down payment!), he wants a new space program, and then I read in the paper yesterday about some great big celebration for the 4th of July.
(AND he's still trying to figure out a way to get a military parade, from what I gather) Yet he seems to be opposed to any attempt to raise taxes. (In fact, didn't he lower them?) Where does he think the money comes from, the tax fairy? |

Oh, the usual Republican piggy banks -- Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP funds, crop/livestock insurance funds, national parks, that kind of stuff.

He'll pay for it with false promises and theft, as usual. Why change now?

1. Tariffs and other moves to bring jobs back to the US.
2. Shut down Amazon, Walmart, dollar stores, and similar chains, or make them change the policies that destroy small town economies. He may have other plans, but 1 is in progress now. Amazon will probably kill Walmart then expand their own retail, if nobody else gets involved. |

The same way he ran his businesses. Stiff the contractors and then declare bankruptcy.

Well, sure. Yacht washing and limo driving are fine careers for any bright young prole.
Come on, be reasonable. You don't expect him to piss off connected wealthy people, do you? |

Pay for it?
Just asking that question shows how little you have learned about Trump. |

I read somewhere that trumps wall is totally feasible. All he has to do is use Hillary's emails, because no one can get over those.

The Treasury sells bonds to finance government activities.
The major banks buy the bonds with deposits. The Fed Open Market Committee buys the bonds from the banks and creates dollars to buy them. They do this by fiat. (Hence why the USD is a fiat currency.) The result is inflation, but we're probably below the Fed's inflation target, so they would like that. The inflation target is probably around 2% per year. |

Looks like he will figure out how to pay for things by walking out of any meeting about how to pay for things.

So presidential, much leadership.
Imagine other professions doing the same: Doctor: Mr. Smith, you have 85% blockage in your coronary arteries and need open heart surgery. Unfortunately the nurses won't quit calling me mean names, so I'm not doing any more operations until they promise to quit. Banker: Ms. Eggwhite, the good news is you've been approved for a mortgage. The bad news is the other mortgage brokers here hurt my feelings this morning so I'm taking your paperwork and going home. Engineer: Yes, boss, I know I was supposed to sign off on the drawings for that new high rise that's going up, but until you quit looking into those other building plans I approved for the sky scraper that collapsed and insinuating I indirectly killed people, I just don't feel like reviewing any more blueprints. Chemist: Bob the Operator, I know you need me to tell you what to do about the stalled reaction that's tying up Plant Reactor #4, but frankly I just don't want to talk about chemistry right now because Susan in analytical said my last batch didn't meet specifications and I couldn't synthesize my way out of a paper bag. |
