"When Will I Be Loved" by Linda Ronstadt (#47 song of 1975) vs. "Ride Captain Ride" by Blues Image (#32 song of 1970)

To reduce the chances that two strong songs would meet in Round 2, criteria were used to assign songs to the top or bottom half of the remaining field. "When Will I Be Loved" was considered to be a relatively strong contender for earning 83.87% of the votes cast in its Round 1 poll.

I don't have anything against Linda Ronstadt but the only hit of hers that I would vote for against typical remaining competition is "Blue Bayou", which didn't even make the megapoll. Vote to weirdo "Ride Captain Ride".
