Squiddly goings on in the kitchen.

One of my younglings, whilst out shopping with his ma, lighted his eyes upon a package of squid parts (tubes and tentacles) and declared that this would be a good thing for him to share with me. This was possibly spurred on by a restaurant encounter with an octopus (I ordered, he sampled) some time ago. Whatever the inspiration, the package was acquired, and now resides in our freezer.

I am more than happy to indulge his culinary explorations, but I want this to be a positive experience. As I have never prepared squid for human consumption before, and have no idea how best to do this in such a way that the end result is tasty and satisfying, I seek tips from those who are able to produce such results. Please.

Over to you.
