Which post is your example? I've seen the name get set wrong when there's a nested quote that someone tries to trim, pulls one of the end quote tags, and it falls over a bit.

Yeah, there is a problem with the quote nesting truncation function in some particular situation when it tries to nest multiple quotes with different levels of depth. I've been meaning to look into it, so this thread is a good reminder. First I have to remember what type of quotes trigger it, so if anyone has a link to an example that would be lovely.

It happens to me a lot whenever I quote a post that has 2 or 3+ quotes (same level) in it.

Like:

It's been driving me crazy in the Mafia games, where there's a crapton of quoting and multiquoting and all that, and a dropped quote leads to plenty of confusion if it's not caught.
