Yes, he did. Like you, MHaye, Chucara and Crys, he claimed vanilla so no actions to analyze. And I forgot I blocked you N4.

Despite the confirmed existence of two other investigative powers, I'm inclined to believe Giraffe is the cause of the beatings, there's reason to believe he was doing something other than killing every Night, except N3 when the mission color matched his claim of being asleep (mission, KidV beaten, subdued, Septimus beaten, total beaten).

So, assuming the scum kill is done by a single player, which of the others could have been killing each Night?

N1: Total may have blocked the killer (Bill), or protected the target (Bill), or Scuba was attacked and survived. Potential attackers include Colby, Wombat, Squid, Crys, MHaye. Someone, other than Giraffe, beat up Peeker.

N2: Peeker was killed, Giraffe claimed a double beating. Potential attackers include wombat (possibly), Colby, Squid, Crys, MHaye or Bill.

N3: Texcat was killed, no-one reported beatings. Potential attackers include Squid, Scuba, Crys, Chucara (possibly) and MHaye.

N4: Sister Coyote was killed, no double beating. Squid, Scuba, Crys, or MHaye

N5: Septimus was killed, Total was double beaten up. Squid, Crys, Chucara or MHaye.

I have never played a game where the NK counts as the action of a single player, so I can't say how likely that is.

I honestly have no idea who scum is at this point. It seems we don't get any information from the mission or our investigator.

Basically, I think everyone other than me must be scum. I believe giraffe is the cause of the beatings, but I am not sure of his alignment. I don't like that he seemed to be trying to steer town towards a target (Total) that was town, going to the point where he threatened to switch to scum. But it also seems a little too outrageous a move for a scum player.

I still think Squid should go. I feel the same about Bill, but I'm going to assume that he will be modkilled if not participating for well.. all game. If he is scum, and his strategy is to just stay away, I'd go as far as to say he is cheating.

It's a standard feature of Red's game: a single scum is selected to perform the kill and can be tracked/blocked/watched.

Just to clarify: on Night 4, I beat up Septimus and Chucara reported being beat up as well.

My thoughts: I honestly don't know at this point. I've been vocal enough about my incorrect suspicions thus far that the scum have happily given me the rope to hang myself, and I've enthusiastically obliged. So I'm a little hesitant to talk out my thoughts right now -- if I'm right, the scum will have their choice of the NK or pushing for a mislynch toMorrow, if I'm wrong, the scum will know to let me just keep talking Town into a loss.

Giraffe, there are only 8 of us left, probably 2 of which are scum.

ToNight Crys and I are on a mission, Squid, Scuba and Mhaye are already under pressure. Scum are limited to killing you or either Chucara or Bill. Killing either of them will reduce the pool of unknowns and since there's no claimed Doc and we mislynched the paranoid doc, they've got a clear shot at you toNight.

I've just realised we probably should have sent our top suspects on toNight's mission. No matter what anti-town benefit they may have gained, the possibility of a prevented night kill would have outweighed it.

Oh is that what this is a mission. I would swear it was one in covert ops considering I keep getting a sneak attack from a 2 year old.....Oh wait thats real life. My sisters kids are here this weekend and have been spending quality time with their auntie. They are going home this weekend so I will be more free around dawn
