A wizards power is rivaled only by his temper. This is why when wizards meet, they choose places so devoid of the living essences of magic, places where the very fabric of nature has been scraped and bent and twisted away. And this is why you are in Newark.

Under the guise of a small sales conference tucked into the medium sized ballroom in a nondescript airport hotel. The great wizards of this age gather to discuss and debate and drink and debase for a week and a day. As you check in, you find a letter waiting at the front desk for you.
