Okay I'm pretty sure I'll be voting for Lightfeet tomorrow, unless anyone has a better idea.

9 live players now. presumably 8 by morning. If mafia still has 3 players and town has 5 we're at MYLO. We CAN have a no lynch phase which then will put us at LYLO the day after tomorrow, but if we lynch one more town this game it's over.

If mafia only has 2 players we have a bit more leeway, but not a lot, and tbh I would love to be able to finish this game soon.

If Meeko, who claimed to know Double A and Lulz's alignment, isn't dead by morning after claiming basically a cop role I'm pretty sure I'm headed in that direction.

What is a 'given' or general use of a term for you may well be different in different cultures- did you consider that?

I think you did- when the shorthand that Lulz used was questioned- you should have recognized that the terms were not universal - and adjusted/ explained accordingly .

When a block of players appear to have a secret language/ handshake- it makes them very suspicious.

No, because I've played on 6 or 7 forums and they all pretty much used the same vocabulary. I'm also new to Mind Romp and they have some pretty weird junk, but I'm not lost with their fancy words.
I was just trying to convey Maha was the head mafia role, which was clearly stated by Visor. Nothing else about godfathers was relevant.

Well, if a few of yall showed up on the org real chummy (I think I did explain I knew Pizza and Visor from other sites when I showed up) I probably wouldn't be very suspicious because of your incredibly low postcounts. Friends act differently towards each other than new people.

Cause Lulz has been in danger of being lynched all game and if he's not town im crai. I also thought Pizza was town at the time. I got a little suspicious of him day 2 and somewhat more so on day 3, but I still wasn't ready to lynch him. I sort of alluded to that in the thread I believe, but

But my point was, and has been for like 5 posts, that night results PMs arrive from the host at the beginning of a day in every game on the Internet. It's the same thing in the party game: People aren't announced dead in the middle of the night, the host tells everyone who's dead when morning comes around.
Pizza had genuinely no way of knowing he would be converted until (roughly) when the Day 2 thread was posted. His D1 actions were still townie actions, which means he genuinely suspected Scathach. He may still have been a townie on Day 2 and Night 2, but we won't know for sure until the end of the game.
I really don't understand why this is such a hard concept to grasp. I know I'm terrible at explaining things, but this is something else. It's almost like I have to be so thorough that an IRS agent could understand, and it feels incredibly weird to me.

You claimed to know they were both vanilla. Fine so you may not have said town vanilla or goon vanilla, but you did claim to have a scan result. Now there are a few options here:

You lied about a scan result and don't really have a scan. This might be town motivated if you were just about 100% certain Lulz and Double A were townies. I can't see how you could be sure of that, unless you completely bought Pizza's vouching for them. It might also be mafia motivated if one or both of them were your scum partners.

You got a soft scan result that just says whether someone are vanilla or have a PR. You revealing that they are both vanilla then might be both town or scum motivated.

You know their alignment and cleared them as vanilla, but not vanilla town. This might mean one of them is mafia and you are their partner, and you took a guess the other is VT.

You got a full scan result, but are for some reason not revealing your results fully yet. This is town motivated I feel, because you might be holding out for more scans.

Obviously I don't want you to reveal more about your role or abilities now, but come Day it might be a good idea. You might have another scan, and could help us. Other than that I find it highly suspicious that mafia didn't kill you last night, but rather opted for who knows what that action was supposed to be that ended with Pizza being the NK.

I feel like your reaction to my comment about you lacked understanding of my thinking. There must be a reason why the mafia chose not to kill you, or perhaps they tried and failed. Either way what you claimed to know about Lulz and Double A is special information, which imo should have lead to your kill.

In short: My town motivation is to find out your motivation behind claiming a scan result, and also mafia's motivation for not killing you for it.

If I am wrong or I'm missing roles that might have this ability, please let me know what other options there are. I haven't seen all the roles in mafia yet, and there has already been a recruiting mechanic in this game that I haven't seen before.

Also: Don't answer my questions regarding your role right now. Wait until Day. Feel free to discuss in a theoretical manner what might have happened, but don't reveal any more.

As far as theory goes, I agree with everything you are saying here. Everything. But, agreed further, I won't talk until morning. I might need some duct tape though.
