A simple peasant, Sancho follows Don Quixote out of greed, curiosity, and loyalty. Where the Don sees things as serious, Sancho approaches them with casual indifference and humor.

Passepartout



Passepartout is the counterpoint to Fogg’s reserved, cold exterior. Lively, garrulous, and warm-hearted, he came to London in search of a quieter life as a servant, which alludes to a rowdier past life back home in France.
