Risk is a great game for multiple players with depth of strategy that is fun for everyone and will ruin family vacations

Scrabble is complicated word search.

My main complaint about Scrabble is the long breaks between turns if you're playing with somewhat serious people. I've never played a game serious enough to use actual clocks, but I've often played with people who stare at their tiles for 3 or more minutes. It makes for a boring game with 4 players all sitting around for long stretches.

Risk can take a while to complete a game, but there aren't so many lulls in the action.

It's a worthy Final 4 but either of these should beat out either of the other semi-finalists IMO.
