In the last round someone said that a baby Ruth was what you really wanted when you wanted a Snickers bar. I think they were right. Baby Ruth has my support.

I was the Round 1 Baby Ruth/Snickers someone! How fleeting fame is. The idea actually comes into play with this match-up. These are both solid, solid candy bars, but 5th Avenue is not the best peanut butter & chocolate crunchy candy bar, and Baby Ruth probably is the best bar in the chocolate/nuts/nougat division. Vote to Baby Ruth.

Found a 5th Avenue bar.

It was... OK. It was kind of treading the middle ground between a Clark bar and a Butterfinger, but it managed to be less good than either.

I was going to do a full write up like I did for the Skor and Clark Bars but... I don't know that it's worth it.

The one thing that did stand out was that it is surprisingly salty and vaguely bitter. Also it has the lightest texture of the three.

This is more what I expected from Hershey. I ate about half and tossed the rest.
