In answer to the OP, what to do with him? IMO...laugh. He just tries so hard to be grim and edgy and righteous. Look at all the energy he expends, just trying to prove to people on the internet how thoroughly wrong they are. He's easy to ignore because he so rarely posts anything worthwhile. You know what you're going to get with a Brian post: wall-eyed ranting about some damned thing or other. There's no rule against that, so as long as he doesn't hijack threads beyond the typical thread drift, no big.

In other words, he's eminently ignorable.
