Amazingly, I've never had any of that happen to me at all when I go to a new place. No, my argument isn't that at all. Saying the cops have better things to do than police a handicap parking spot does not equate to it being fine to pull a Denis Leary. I just figure police time and resources are better used on actual crime fighting.

For the record, I don't park in handicap spaces. I probably won't even when I'll be able (or disable as it were) to do so.

I didn't and don't justify occupying a handicap space for two minutes. My original comment was that it isn't something I'd get all worked up about. It's certainly not something I would bother the police with. That to me is right up there with that lady who called 911 because she didn't get cheese on her cheeseburger.
