Team Players-Day Three
In the dark of Night HookerChemical experienced an uncommon bout of somnambulism..
He wandered out of the safe zone and as ‘luck’ would have it , he came to just as he began a slow descent down a mudslide- “I can out run this hazard” he thought - and he did- right into a newly exposed tarpit. The faint sound of of the school band from his youth was the last thing he heard ( or thought he did) it might have been a Supernatural flashback. Bits of his remains would later be harvested as crude oil by his farmer’s descendants. HookerChemical - Town - Will run no more There was one that did not interact all -all Night -If he is unable/unwilling to attempt to work with the other animals this Day he will not have access to food and will perish at the end of the Day. Sad but true. Hungry animal: Colby11 If he does not post This Day he will starve and his carcass will be removed from the Grove.- IF a Sub cannot be found. Day 3 will end Sunday September 24 at 1 PM PST blame my boss End of cycles may not be static I am playing with time zones- if you have a time that you know you will be on and you are not in the continental US PM me |

So why was he chosen? |

Well, Jan made the remark that his comment (not mine, i checked) was a bit of scumbait for revealing too much.
Bye hc we'll miss and avenge you. |

It seems to me... and this is drunken possibility- that hc MAY been tinker farm origin. His acceptance of prof as revealed by undies may have implied a similar farm origin.
In which case it may have been a misstep to kill him and confirm the tinkerers. |

![]() I feel quite bad for pointing out that I thought Hooker might be a good scum kill, especially if scum hadn't found all of their team yet. However, as Raven pointed out, it could well have confirmed that Tinkers are Town. |

I definitely think Hooker recognized Prof. I also think it wasn't a bad scum kill because no one claiming Tinker can be trusted now, unless we can find a good breadcrumb well before that.
(I've hinted at my team, I'm Town, and my team isn't Tinker. I haven't seen any other references to my farmer, I guess I'll try to reread once again.)

Pfui! [You may quote me.]
And, of course, Hooker's death immediately points to Silverjan because she pointed out he was a good target for Scum. But THAT could be a Scum ploy. But THAT THAT could be a Scum ploy. I have a plot twist in front of me. Pfui! |

Kindred, you're not a cow. (But then I'm sure you already know that!)

This "you must post every cycle" requirement is not my cup of tea. Plus, I need to reread something before I post anything further.

Quite possible. I just strongly doubt, however, that there's a Farmer named Terpsichorean. Or Tango.

Yes, Tinkers are surely Town. I wasn't saying Undies found the scum team. I'm saying that if we now ask people if they are Tinkers most people are going to say yes and some of them will be lying.

I feel like saying I refuse to answer and seeing who votes me for it, but that's not good for the state of the game so I won't. I don't think they're invested in the game. They seem to be gliding in and gliding out and looking like they're contributing but I don't feel the head-banging frustration coming from the rest of us. (Sorry, Kinder, I don't know your pronouns.) I'm of the opinion that this setup is actually easier for scum than Town. Barring events like the apparent accidental mislynch of Dante, by sheer numbers any lynch is more likely to be Town than scum so scum doesn't care as much about the lynch. And the usual scum tells don't apply or won't for a while. I'm getting this same feeling from ![]()

You know AA, I tend to agree with you here about it being easier for scum, well it will be once they have found each other. I feel as if I am floundering in a sea of breadcrumbs that might or might not be breadcrumbs. It looks as if I was wrong about Undies being a fowl and I was quite proud of myself for picking up on that, however, that didn't last too long

Neither have I, but I never do.
What worries me is that, if there are 4 Scum left, and only 6 Town left, one mislynch followed by a successful NK by Scum will tie us at 4 to 4. |

So that would mean we are already at lylo, not a nice thought.

The "good" thing is, if that's the case, then every Town will have a 44% chance of voting to lynch a Scum and getting a Scum. The bad news is, that's a 56% chance of missing.

The dearly departed:
Magicalundies zuma HookerChemical scathach The filthy altered scumbums Dante G The cowering questionables: SisterCoyote - I'm still wary of her D1 vote on squid. Usually by D3, D1 is mostly forgotten. But this game is certainly different. Flying Squid with Goggles - I'm not sure what to make of him. SNFaulker - I'm certain he is of the purest of bloodlines. Do not kill. Plumpudding - I guess he's a chicken? Dunno about town or scum though. raventhief - Active, compared to most. But still I'm unable to suss out any info. Prof. Pepperwinkle - On team Tinker, whatever that really means. Though "Tinker" makes me think of a tinkerer. One who alters. Is that a clue? Silverjan - Called out the Hooker who then got killed. Not sure if there is a connection. Archangel - Claims to be a cow and a cowvigger. A lot quieter than I'm used to seeing from her. Colby11 - Took over for Sprouts who was out of her depth. I have picked up any crumbs from either of them. He is quiet, but just about as quiet as I've come to expect from him. Kindredkindling - N00b. This is certainly a tough game to be a n00b in. I commend his stick-to-itiveness. Voted for Jan for the Hooker call out thing, and backed down when Jan pointed out how ridiculous it seemed. A n00b mistake? Well, yes, BUT I did almost the exact same thing my very first time as scum. It was a game where scum could not talk at all and I had the NK decision all top myself. I chose someone thinking I could frame someone else the next Day but didn't really think it though and it came out just as awkward sounding as Kindred's. So because of that, and to see how he hand;es the pressure... |
